Get your children or grandchildren excited about sewing! Have them join us for our kid's sewing camp. Students from 9-14 years old will be introduced to basic sewing machine operation, plus they'll learn how to read and cut out an easy pattern. They will construct an easy pair of shorts or a skirt with an elastic waistband. Those who finish early can start a second project. Class fee: $45. Two, 4 hour sessions. KID'S STRIP PIECED BOOK COVER

You'll want to make one for each of your books, and to give as great gifts! Plus, you learn how to use those left over 1/8 yard strips of fabrics from your other projects, so there is no waste! KID'S BASIC TOSS PILLOW

Learn to make a 12" square custom fitted pillow cover to match your room. We'll start by measuring a pillow form and finish with a Velcro closure. Once you know how to make the pillow case, you can make several to build up a comfortable bed, and even make different sizes for floor study pillows. Change the covers when you change your room. KID'S RECYCLED JEAN TOTE BAG

If you have a pair of jeans that no longer fit, this is a great way to recycle them (you can ask friends and family for a pair of old jeans, or pick up a pair at the thrift store). The jeans will be cut up, embellished and sewn into a cool tote bag with pockets already built in! You will also learn to use a tube turner! Class fee: $20. One, 2 hour session.
